About
We create a solid, perennial and regular source of resources to foster positive social transformations

Under Brazilian Law 13,800/19, philanthropic funds are an instrument that contributes to the financial sustainability of non-profit organizations that defend public interest causes.
PDR derives its name from the initials of its creators Patrícia, Daniel and Ricardo Villela Marino. As a result of the family’s civic social engagement, the acronym in English summarizes the spirit of the initiative: Purpose Driven Resources. Its mission is to guarantee human and constitutional rights, promoting citizenship, social inclusion and supporting projects and causes of public interest that seek to transform the ethno-civic-socio-environmental reality of Brazil.
PDR is an instrument to support these causes, working for the benefit of society through the management of endowment and allocation of resources to supported institutions. In addition to the Humanitas360 Institute, of which it is the main maintainer, PDR was born providing financial and management support to other non-profit organizations, such as the Ficus Institute and the Periphery Impact Business Articulation ( ANIP). Financial contributions to these non-profit organizations are made in strict accordance with Brazilian Law 13,800/19.

Purpose Driven Resources
The structure for project selection, performance monitoring and impact measurement of the PDR Philanthropic Fund also serves to guide other family initiatives, such as its investments in socio-environmental impact businesses, cultural and educational support.
Among our early-stage investments in social businesses with great potential for positive impact, CIVI-CO, Scirama and Tereza stand out, which are also monitored by the PDR team. The same happens with the financial resources provided to educational institutions, training of young talents and support for cultural and audiovisual productions, which contribute to the causes that the family defends.
